Trying to manage your finances can be tricky at the best of times, and keeping track of deposits, withdrawals, and transactions needs to be done. Chase’s app lets you do a multitude of things from within it, and today we are looking at how to view pending deposits.
To view pending deposits on the Chase app, you will need to log into the app and head to the account in question via the “accounts” tab or tap on the account located on the home screen. Scroll until you see recent transactions and tap on “see all transactions.”.

How Do You See Pending Deposits On The Chase App?
The Chase mobile app has a ton of features, and seeing your pending deposits is a function that should be included, and luckily enough, it is.
Additionally, you will have to set up your online banking profile with the bank because you will need your login details to get into the app.
Assuming you have all of this, you will need to open up the app and log in. The app will take you to the home overview screen, where you will see an overview of the accounts linked to your banking profile in addition to notifications that will appear.
At the bottom of the screen, you will be presented with five tabs/sections that you can navigate to. These will include;
- Pay & Transfer
- Plan & Track
To view your pending deposits, you will need to navigate to the “accounts” section. This is the first section, located in the bottom left-hand corner.
Once you are in the accounts section, you will need to tap on the checking or savings account you wish to view. Additionally, on the home screen, you may tap the checking or savings account you want to view.
This will take you to another screen where you can see the account details. This will include the following;
To view your pending deposits, you need to head to the “recent transactions” section and select the option “see all transactions.”. This is where you should find your most recent transactions, including any pending deposits.
However, there are some instances when your pending deposit may not show up, and we will cover why that is next.
How Long Do Pending Transactions Take To Show?
Chase will typically post pending transactions to your account at the end of the day (at midnight). Then deposits made after 11:00 PM ET are viewable as pending deposits immediately.
However, these will not be processed (cleared) until the next business day. This policy applies to debit cards, cash withdrawals, and checks drawn on Chase.
How Long Do Pending Transactions Take To Clear?
Pending transactions (which include deposits) will reflect in your account within 24 hours. However, pending transactions will fall away automatically after 7 days.
Checking your pending deposits using the Chase app is simple enough; you can do this within seconds of opening the app. You just need to ensure that the account in question is linked to your banking profile.
Head to the account you wish to view and select the list of recent transactions. This is where you should see your pending deposits. Note that depending on when the deposit was made, it may not show up yet.
